Default Spark plug and wires question

Ok after reading this Ive decided to get rid of the Nology wires and I just ordered some Ngk blues. What Ngk plugs would be the best to use with these? Also was it smart to get rid of the Nology silverstone plugs and wires? Was this a decent price for the Ngk wires? Im sad now cause erthing in my engine bay is red.
