Do u have a link of the hood some CF hoods are crap. Cheaply made my friend got one and had to do alot of work to it with fiberglass which was stupid. I would prob send it back and get a nice one like VIS or Fiberimages. Show us the hood or a link. But my friends basically done the same thing.

I just got mine from VIS (invader style) and it fits perfectly except for a little warpage on the driver's side (probably b/c its cold right now) I guess without some pics to see how bad it is I'd say either send it back or wait till it gets warmer out and see if it's still as warped. Hood pins might also help. I don't have any on mine though.

i have heard only good things about fiberimages, probably where i'll get mine from eventually...supposedly the strongest and most durable out.

FI is suppose to be the best but i picked vis over FI because i live 5 minute from VISracing in monterey park, California.

very bad customer service, they dont give a sh-t to anyone.
quality is very band for the buck, about 3bills, little more for the invader, aggressor style,etc

what fiber images does not tell you that most of those videos are hoods that do not have the skeleton in them, any hood will do what theirs is doing with out the skeleton just the shell. ViS uses very cheap materials such as Poly resin which is NOT made for carbon fiber stuff for their hoods and fiber images using better matierals. That is why ViS hoods weigh more is because the resin they use and thicker fiberglass in them which does not help but makes them more brittle in a collision

I don't know wtf you guys are talking about when you say that VIS is bad quality.

I have had mine for almost a year now, still looks great and fits perfectly.

And it is lighter than the FI hoods i have felt. Probably because the OEM style for 5th gens only has one brace across the middle.

I am 100000% satisfied with my VIS CF hood. And I only paid $300 brand new, from an actual company.

oem style without shipping

for most honda..

vis =300
FI =450-500

shipping would be a b_+ch for that size, and you'll end up purchasing insurance for the hood.
