Default Doing GSR Turbo Please Help

Hi guys, i had a 1995 4 door GSR that was stolen from me on 11-28-2003 and now i just got everything settled with insurance and they are giving me money for the car plus all of the mods. I am about to buy a 1995 GSR coupe and turbo it right away. I was planning on running a custom turbo kit running about 8 psi with a basically stock motor other than a skunk 2 intake manifold, str cam gears, and a custom 3in downpipe all the way back. Those are two parts that i planned on putting on my sedan before it got stolen and never had a chance to. This car will be daily driven and the motor has about 65 K on it. Do you think that it will last if i dont rag on all the time? What would you suggest to check on to maintain my car. Also what times and specs do u think i will be running with that set up. Any info would be highly appreciated. Thanks

I have almost exactly twice your miles and mine is good so far at about 7.5 psi. If you want I would do a timing belt and new plugs. How much power you might make is too broad a question. With good tuning at 8 psi you could make anywhere from 220-290 WHP. There are a lot of variables.

With good tuning, it will last.
