You'll find a ton of pics at http://www.hondaelement.org – make sure you look in the gallery section.

elements are soooooo ugly. hey sweet, its a FWD box with no acceleration, awful looks, and a horrible layout.

why would anyone pay for **** like that?

hmm...well mine is 4WD...looks are either love it or hate it, and a horrible layout? it has one of the most useful layouts of any car on the road.

as far as acceleration goes....hmm a stock '92 legend runs about a 16.0 flat and an 8.0 0-60...the element in 2WD form pulls an 8.1 0-60 and a 16.2 1/4. not bad for a 3500lb 160hp I4. hell...that's faster than a stock civic EX manual, and pretty much hangs with the '02 SI (8.0 0-60 and a 16.2 1/4...car and driver, march '02 issue). i'd say it's FAR from slow for what it is.

that's all opinion rangerjoe.

take anything in its market and compare it. and you'll find that the element willmore then likely out class it.

have you driven one yet to say all that ? i know with the power to weight i don't thinkit'll be "a FWD box with no acceleration"... 160hp 162tq 3300lbs. its like a lil heavier cr-v.. and the cr-v isn't slow for the market its in.

I would get the body panels painted. I've seen a couple of them painted and they look totally different.

I have an element and i have to say that out of all the other vehicles in its class it is by far the best. Nothing can match on versatility, performance or price. Have a look over at rev hard's web site they are working on a turbo kit for it. There are actually two forums for the element as well, hondaelement.org and elementownersclub.com.

how nice is rangerjoe... people have their point when buying their cars!

indeed, element is best in the class... great idea.

the trend is going that boxy shape frankly, in japan, there are many new cars are like that.

now it might ugly to people, but next 2 years, it will be better...

and why monotone? because next few years, monotone will be so popular!
