Default RE-010's

Who else sells the RE-010's besides tirerack.com? I've visited an array of online sites and came up w/ nothing. By the way, don't ask me why I won't get em' from tirerack, it's a long story

I've found them to be one of the cheapest. I searched google "bridgestone potenza re010" and it was one of the first results.

Happy huntings.

Holy Sh#t, these guys have great prices, but they almost sound too good to be true. Possibly thinking that they could be selling the "rejects" for a cheap price. Anyone know anything about this company or ever done business w/ them?

Also, if anyone else knows of another place to pick up some RE-010's, please chime in!!

And how should I go about phrasing that question, "Hello, I'm just calling to find out if you run a shady business that sells cheap and defective tires".

I'm more or less looking for someone w/ first hand experience

Also, there's gotta be more than 2 websites that sell RE-010's, someone PLEASE chime in w/ a site.

http://www.townfairtire.com .... you can't order online, but according to their website they have 3 stores in NH. Free snow tire changeover, free flat repair and for $16 or something they offer free tire replacement if they cant fix it. Got my Toyo Proxes there, Good place. Check 'em out. Hope this helps.

The 195/55-15 RE010 was specifically designed for the ITR, a low-volume car. As a result, you won't see it listed on many websites. However, I bet most dealers will carry it or can order it for you. You just may need to pick up the phone instead of ordering it using a website.

Have you tried Discount Tire Direct? No, it's not on their website, but I bet they have 'em. Try calling them at 800-589-6789.

Wow, not too much info on RE-010's or places to locate them. I would have expected more from this group.

Most people replace RE010's with Azines for summer sportyness. The only reason I used RE010's is because they came in 215/45/16, and were better in the rain compared to azines.

I would switch to Azenis if they had the stock tire size, same goes for the S0-3's. I'm keeping my car pretty close to stock and I love the feel of the stock RE-010's so I def. want to stick w/them.

Some do. Many others don't. I'm still using the RE010, and I'm very happy with it.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 92TypeR &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The only reason I used RE010's is because they came in 215/45/16</TD></TR></TABLE>

The 215/45-16 version of the RE010 is not recommended for the ITR. It was designed specifically for the NSX - not just for the NSX, but for the front of the NSX, only. And only on one side of the car; you buy a "left front" RE010 or a "right front" RE010 for that size. The belts are biased to work along with the NSX alignment (and its "weird" toe configuration, front vs rear). Even the compound of the tire is different from the corresponding 245/40-17 rear NSX tire.

Did you try picking up the phone to call Discount Tire Direct? Or are you still insisting on finding a low-volume tire on a website?

I would have expected more from a member of this group...

They come factory on the JDM ITR's. And were the tire on my JDM 16's when I got the car...

Then maybe you got the version sold in Japan for the ITR, which is not NSX-specific. The only version sold in the States is the NSX-specific (side-specific) one.

You can check this yourself, BTW. The NSX-specific (side-specific) version has an arrow on the sidewall that shows the direction of rotation, AND it also says "SIDE FACING OUTWARDS" (or "SIDE FACING INWARDS") on the sidewall.

Yeah, I did pick up the phone to call. The rep said they don't deal w/ Bridgestone tires in any way shape or form. They recommended tire rack, but tire rack sucks big donkey ballz. So now I'm up **** creek.

Interesting.

Okay, why don't you go to the store locator on Bridgestone's website:
http://www.bridgestonetire.com/storelocator/
and type in your ZIP code and select Bridgestone brand tires to show all your local dealers. Any of them should be able to order you the RE010 in size 195/55-15. Tell them it's part number 058-947 in Bridgestone's catalog.

Exactly. And most tire places will try to match tire rack prices and will be very close in price.
