i have the alpine IVA-C801 and i tried hooking up my x box be4 i install in permently into my teg, and i get sound but no video. i hooked up the x box to a exstension cord so i made sure i got power.. but i get no video.. anyone know what i could do or what the problem could be?

 

Do you have all there wires hooked up right. Your audio wires(red & white) your video wire(yellow)

 

ya i do.. but get this, i went to circuit city so they can check it all out for me cuz they installed it.. and he just went down there and wiggled a wire and kaboom.. it worked.. he made me look like an ***.. but i have a 140watt power inverter.. tried it with my friends ps2.. works fine.. then unpluged it and plugged all my x box wires and stuff and then the power inverter beeps and turns off.. i think x box uses too much power.. more then 140watts.. so i guess this means i gota get a bigger one *sigh* more money.....
