where do oil restrictors go?
It is my understanding that the .06 is the general size that will work with any T3/T04 "sized" Turbo. It just prevents the turbo's oil seals from being exposed to 75 psi all the time. I would put it in the oil feed port for the turbo and screw the oil feed line into it. I wouldn't thread it directly into the block, the block has a BSPT thread not NPT. It may also take longer to fill the feed line, starving the turbo for oil immediately after cranking the car.

that doesnt sound good at all, how is this beneficial then?

I don't know what the hell he's saying.
Get a -3an line, don't know if that is the same as .06 or whatever you mentioned but this is the right size you need.
IF you have a line larger than -3an, you need an oil restrictor. I believe this goes right before the oil line goes into the turbo.
You need a BSPT to NPT fitting to put into the back of the block where the oil sending unit orignially was. Block is bspt, but the oil line is npt.
