Default Review of Clarion 835mp

Hey everyone I just got a a new Clarion 835mp and thought I put out a review on it. First off when installing one thing I thought was wierd is you have to run a wire directly to the battery as well as you 12v acessory lead. I'm new to stereo so I thought this was wierd. That wasn't really a hassle though because I already have a hole and stuff in the firewall because of my amp. Now on to the deck itself. The build quality seems really good. All the buttons are crisp feeling and everything feels nice and tight. The display is pretty cool because of all the colors you have to choose from. My fav. so far is the white. Is also the easiest to see, which brings me too another point. The display is by far its weakest point because when I'm sitting straight into my seat I can barely see it. I have to lean over to the right to actually get a good look at it . Haven't seen it in the sunlight yet but I'm sure it will still be pretty weak. But onto the best part, the SQ. Let me tell you the improvement in Sound Quality from my premier 550 is amazing. It has so much more bass and seems so much more energetic. Also there is not a hint of sound interference at all. Lastly I'm not that big on adjustibility and such so I can explain how well it does that.

Overall I am very happy with this deck. The improvement over my premier is unremarkable.

Also ever since my premier deck was stolen the clock in my car keeps resetting. Any ideas on what this might be. It is also very dim, but it has power to it.

BTW I'm likin the new forum.
