hey guys my bro is having a problem with with his accord, its a 97 ex stick and today he couldnt get his key to turn.. EVERYTHING else works the lights turn on, power door locks work.... its weird... is the ignition switch messed up? he just used it like half an hour earlier.....is it a problem that we could fix on our own? and if so what do we need and how much? thanks guys!!!

has he tried moving the steering wheel back and forth while trying to turn the key

 

yea the sterring wheel is prolly locked just turn it and stuff until the key turns

 

yeah...we tried that too...we even called our local honda dealership.....

 

try it again i know its that coz it happened to me once haha

 

were you really rough with it?? i felt like i was going to snap the key. and we were were jerking the wheel like crazy too... and even tried spare keys
