Engine Shaking like the macarenna
Man, i know i've posted this before but itz starting to get REAL annoying. I have already replaced the wires, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor and the battery as well. What the heck is making my engine shake violently at idle? The RPM meter drops up and down and gets very annoying. The timing belt has already been replaced as well. I NEED HELP FELLOW HONDA-TECH MEMBERS...!!
No weird noises at all. However when I open the hood and look at the engine it shakes and vibrates alot when the rpm drops at idle and i can really see the engine jerk.
huh... well, it really sounds like a spun bearing, except for no noises. Crazy.
A few things to think about:
Balancer shaft maybe?
Any smoke out the back end?
Have you run the compression numbers yet?
I still say pull the oil pan and check the bearings. It may not be it, but it'd be nice to rule it out completely.

When was your timming belt replaced? If who ever did it didn't time the balancer shafts at the same time would cause a vibration, certainally at Idle..
Check it out, go ask the machanic..
