OBD1 Sohc Vtec D16 Into A 96 Civic (obd2a) Questions Inside....
Donor Motor: 1994 D16 Sohc VTEC swap
Target Car: 1996 Civic Hatchback OBD2
While this is a bit of a backward swap, I need to put a motor in my car to sell it since I've abondoned my engine B series buildup. What would be the easiers (cost effective) method of completing this swap? By which I mean can I use the stock harness w/ an OBD2->1 harness?

Apparently I must swap the injectors clips on the OBD1 swap to OBD2 clips. This can be done by just soldering.
Then use an OBD2 alternator and distributor. Or you can use an OBD1 distributor w/ and OBD2 plug following the wiring below:
And lastly connect the OBD1 ECU from the swap to the OBD2 wiring with an OBD2A->OBD1 adapter harness.
Does this sound right?
