Clicking noise from under dash
Okay guys, I am having a problem with my 90 Accord. When the car is on start or run, there is a clicking noise from under the dash on the drivers side. When you press in the brake, the noise quits. Also the car is stuck in sportshift and the brakelock for the shifter is off (Automatic). It is a very loud clicking like the noise when there is a playing card on a bike tire. I have no ideas what it could be. Is there a brake controller under there, or could it be something else. TIA
does the shift move from park to drive. and do the brake lights come when u brake. if not is the brake swich is on and off u might need to change that. andf the the S thing u got to open the shift and check the wires it's a lot of work for the last one but u got to do what u got to do.
Yeah, the shifter works fine, although it is stuck in sportshift mode. But in park is the only time it makes the noise, that is until you press in on the brake. The brakes work fine other than they need to be adjusted.
