OT: Lug nuts came loose
i was driving to school and my rear driverside lug nuts came loose.
on me. my question is, will i have done any damage to the car, rotors,etc..? i drove about 20 miles like this. i thought it was just my OEM jack bumping around. thanks

I dunno, it depends on how fast you were driving in that 20 min. It's more than likely nothing, but if it was thumping then who knows... highly unlikely, may have slightly bent some studs, possibly the spindle, etc. I would torque back the lugs and keep an eye on it for the next few days. Probably nothing though.
i'd pull the wheel off and make sure it didn't damage the threads or bend any of the studs while it was banging around.if all looks good,i'd throw the wheel back on and torque them properly.as said above-a torque wrench is a good investment.
were they stock lugs?

just keep an eye on it.. check them every couple days.. after you torqued everything and drove it, did you hear any sounds, feel any vibrations, etc? if not, everything is probably ok..

Remove any paint or powder coating on the seating area of the wheel.

no rotor damage? You good to go then.

theres 2 small 2mm knicks on the hub part, but not the actual surface of the rotor.
