Hey all, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Grassroots Motorsports and the first, very successful year of Classic Motorsports, we're throwing ourselves a party in conjunction with the Walter Mitty at Road Atlanta on May 1-2.

GRM and CMS subscribers will be offered greatly reduced admission to the races, and all will be invited to drive Kumho Tires' new MINIs on an autoX course, to compete for prizes, as part of your admission.

We're going to have a number of cool speakers and lots of other attractions set up, CMC has just signed on to build a low-cost Lotus Super 7 replica in two days at the event, I think they'll be using a Miata as the donor car. We're inviting car clubs to come gather in a big car corral. I for one think the ITRs need to show up in force, mine should be there (probably lined up with the GRM project cars).

Spread the word, check out stuff like the Rotary Spitfire, watch races, meet the friendly GRM staff, and bring tha VTEC.

I'll post more specifics as we get them!

Definitely remind me. I can be there in right at 2-2.5 hour drive. I'd come more to visit with you and a few others. We might just get a sneak preview of the GRM event a few week prior

Close to me, and i will have an appartment i will be "half" living in with a ladyfriend of mine, so i think her and i would most likely attend this. I will make sure i have this off from work, and make room for it by taking my name off some events i have wanted to goto.

Maybe you can throw a Stunna back in the pages of GRM

Ill be there parking with the Atl Region SCCA peeps (unless we get 15 or more ITRs there of course). The price I was told on the Atl Solo2 mailing list was $15 for the three days.

Actually, Gabe & Noelle showed up in a very sweet cream colored caddy the other day, we should race 'em. I think they had to give it back to wherever it came from, unfortunately.

We're still finalizing pricing. Your admission to the Mitty is your admission to the party, or vise-versa...and subscribers will be able to get a significant discount. I don't wanna throw out any specifics until I have them.
