best valvetrain for high boost street cars?

best valvetrain for high boost street cars?
Who makes some good quality valvetrains for high boost street applications (12-15 psi on street and 24-25 on track)...good for high rpm shifts which I would probly only use to 9100-9200 rpms (racing only)....I was thinking of skunk2 but didnt know if I needed better...so what in your opinion is the best valves/valve retainers/valve springs

look into the ef-1 setup or the supertech valves and spring setup both work great even at higher performance level than you need

Definitely look at the Rocket motorsports(ef-1) valve train. its very stiff and lots more than you need for a good price. http://www.m24x.com/

My friend has the rev valves and it drop valves 0n him, f@#k up his head.

The JG retainers he uses are decent but IMO were made for use with JG springs. Ive never been a fan of mix and match valvetrain.
I know quite a few people who run both the Portflow and or the ferrea valvetrain with boosted motors and all have all been quite happy with them. I personally have come to like the new Eibach stuff so I will be going that route for my car. If not for that Id be going with Ferrea

The JG retainers he uses are decent but IMO were made for use with JG springs. Ive never been a fan of mix and match valvetrain.
I know quite a few people who run both the Portflow and or the ferrea valvetrain with boosted motors and all have all been quite happy with them. I personally have come to like the new Eibach stuff so I will be going that route for my car. If not for that Id be going with Ferrea

Port Flow with ITR in my boosted motor. 9k rev when racing, 8.4k daily driving with no problems thus far.
for those voting for Ferrea. are you currently using them in your Running motor?
my friend bought the Ferrea Springs and Retainers for his N/A JUN III's after speaking to someone at Ferrea which they said would work fine. then he had to buy the Spring *Seats* to use the springs. fine, he bought them.
2 months later a Spring broke driving normal on the highway. didn't ruin much. 1month after that another spring broke and he dropped a valve, breaking 1 JUN cam, cracking his gsr block and ******* up is HC wiseco pistons.
take it for what its worth. i wouldn't trust Ferrea.

Sorry to hear that happen... I've had Ferrea for almost 40,000MI now. I rev up 8000 though. Sounds like he had a problem with valvelash though (IMO). I've heard that a major concern when mixing components. My valves came with my cams so I put them in.
I think not having VTEC might matter too, but I wouldn't think not that much of a concern.

sorry but they are not JG retainers..they are custom maid to rockets specs..not JG. and I have been running the rocket motorsports springs and retainers for over 9 months with no problems at all with 3 diff cams in this time (M22's,Type R's and GSR's) and when I pulled the motor to sleeve the block and port the head the springs/retainers still look the same as the day they went in and the motor has seen well over 40 pass's at the track and 12K miles of street driving.
