According to this site, the pre '00 itr intake springs are the same as the gsr ones. Can anyone verify this?

You can look up part numbers for any Acura car of any year on the Sunnyside Acura website.
thanks, good call
http://www.acuraparts247.com/s...ch=no
first link confirms the gsr spring #'s as acurate to my previous link
http://www.acuraparts247.com/s...ch=no
and this one says that the '98 ITR intake springs, and exhaust valve springs, ARE the SAME as the gsr's intakes...
http://www.acuraparts247.com/s...ch=no
yep, the '00 numbers are correct as well.
So, those springs that dude got ARE ITR valve springs from a pre- '00 itr- haha

Integra GSR
14751-P72-003 SPRING. VALVE INTAKE INNER
14761-P72-003 SPRING. VALVE EXHAUST OUTER
and
14762-P30-004 SPRING. VALVE EXHAUST OUTER
The Exhaust side of the GSR Engines do not have dual valve springs.
Integra Type R
14751-P73-J02 SPRING. VALVE INTAKE INNER
14761-P73-J02 SPRING. VALVE EXHAUST OUTER
and
14751-P72-003 SPRING. VALVE INTAKE INNER
14761-P72-003 SPRING. VALVE EXHAUST OUTER
As you can see the Exhaust valvesprings are the equivalent of the exhaust side of the ITR.
What's really popular is people purchasing the intake side of the ITR valvesprings and moving their Intake GSR valvesprings to the Exhaust side, now they have ITR valvesprings.
In the master catalog, the intake valve spring set on the 97 and 98 models aren't available for purchase. But if you removed them and replaced with the 00-01 model ITRs, they're identical.

that seems a little odd that they're excluded. So they do have the same colour coding and oval shape forsure?

Perhaps I should have said they do have a part number, but try ordering it. It's not available.
I have the Master Catalog and Interactive Network in front of me.
