is it possible? does it matter what engine set it is?

Yes, it's possible. Search for TECH in the archived accord section, or visit http://www.accordinglydone.com/ and look in the tech articles. If the h22 is obd2 you'll have to do a obd2-obd1 conversion which is just some additional wiring and a new ecu I think.

Well the BB4 would be the chassis code, and H22a is the engine code... no such thing as an engine chassis code

BB4 is the chassis code for the 4th gen preludes.

It's a Chassis Code,

CD5 - Accord
DC2 - Integra
EK9 - Civic
BB4 - Prelude
....etc

(Chassis codes listed are not for ALL accords, integras, civics, and preludes, just an example.)
