Is is possible to make your OEM alarm automatically arm?
I had a Viper Alarm on my Integra that would passively arm 30 seconds after the door was closed. On my 2000 Accord, it came w/ a OEM alarm that I'm satisfied w/ except that it doesn't passively arm. There are times when I forget if I locked the car or not so I have to go all the way back to the car to double check.
It would be nice if I could add a module or anything so that the car would automatically lock after 30 seconds. Is there any way to do this?

Most Honda alarms I've seen have a switch on the brain that will allow passive or active arming - sometimes it's labeled as auto or manual. The brain should be attached to the lower dashboard cover on the driver's side.
Wow cool. I hope this alarm has it but it might not just b/c this oem alarm came standard on the car and might be more heavily integrated into the car. I'm going to have to search though. Thanks!
Which Accord do you have? In 2000, EX's came with an OEM alarm from the factory. The LX models would have been a dealer-installed unit.
I have a 2000 EX, so it has the factory installed OEM alarm. Is the dealer installed OEM alarm the same as the factory one?
They're slightly different. You'll find many of the same features but the brains will look physically different.
wouldn't it be cheaper/easyer to buy those auto arming ebay alarms for 20 bucks, ya they suck *** and don't protect ****, but u can get it to auto arm for cheap

If the oem alarm will do it, then I won't need to spend any money at all.
But if it won't it's good to know of an option.
