I'm tryin to choose an exhaust system for the car i am buying. Post up some pics of your exhaust on your car and also tell me what you think about the performance of your system. I want something that looks nice but most importantly, will also free up some hp Help me out

3inch stainless steel mandrel bent piping with a Jic Titanium muffler.

 

custom 3" piping, with borla muffler, sounds great

 

many diff ways to go.


im also liking h-t's new look

 

How about try no exhaust. You will love the way it sounds. I know I do.

 

i had 3" piping dumping before the rear trailing arm...
sounded awesome! but was a bit loud inside the car.

also a magnaflow 3" muffler with a 3" resonator and 3" carsound cat. i wouldnt be happier with the sound and performance. very nice top end performance with the 3"

 

Well, assuming you are boosting, 3" all the way... If not turbo or supercharged, it is going to be very loud to the point it is annoying to you and everyone around you. Plus, larger exhaust on N/A cars is not necessarly the best way to go.

 

Comptech SS here, gonna add a 3" E-Cutout right after the downpipe when I finally get around to purchasing and installing my kit.

 

No exhaust dumpipe right off the turbo

soon to go to 4" right out the side of the bumper

i have the same thing.

 

im using same motor as 99-00 civic si...in my del sol...

3" piping from kteller8 (never seen piping fit so well, even the muffler shop was impressed) into a HKS Carbon/Titanium exhaust...currently still N/A while my engines being built...but omg the tone makes me want to cream myself...
