Just wondering how many people have a pc in their car or some time of carputer/car computer? I am thinking of getting one or piecing one togther in the spring for gps, huge mp3 storage, dvd player, and possibly hondata. Anyway, whoever has a car computer; what does you system consist of? did you piece it together or buy it whole? about how much did it cost? any pics of install, etc.?
i am debating whether to buy a "carputer" already put together or piece one together myself. i know basically what a computer consists of, but have never really put on together before and don't want to get in over my head. especially when it comes to installing proper drivers, chipsets, etc.?

just get a laptop to plug into an EMS.. and if you want mp3's in the ride straight from a harddrive look into a neo player.. "neo car jukebox" which is made by SSI AMERICA... very tight hardware...

thanks for the link. i forgot about mp3car.com. my friend who is actually in the process of starting his own business (calles "carputing") uses that site all the time. i am not buying from him bcuz he wants $2000 installed. i figure i can compile a system (without hondata) for like $500-$750 and install it myself, customizing monitor location, etc.
