What do you do when you get scammed?

I have the guys address. What can i do? can i have a cop go to his house? can i go to his house and beat the living **** out of him?

 

You contact his local police department. How did you pay him?

 

Both! Depending on the amount which will determine your action. I got scammed recently and am now speaking to the fbi. Internet fraud and if its different state is interstate fraud. So you have a case! Good luck.

 

I told you to be weary about that guy Jordo.The whole situation you told me was sketchy. Sorry to hear though. Deff try the local police. More then likely they will be of no help. at least they werent for me . they told me to file a claim with small claims becuase it was only $1200. i would try thme 1st though. if you paid with paypal using a credit card, call the card company Paypal is a waste of time too . they are worthless. They only care about their %3. if all else fails go over and open a can of whoop *** old fashioned style assuming you got the right address.

 

This happened to me a few months ago, bought some Recaro's. Well sent MO, nothing ever showed up. Went to email, no longer existent, went to his ebay account no longer a registered member. Called the local police, the individual has done this to 2 other individuals. To make the story better the town has about 5000 people, the sheriff knew exactly who I ws talking bout. His relative is a member of the police dept. So I talked to the sheriff, explained Im in the AF, I work hard for my money. He told me that he couldnt stop me from coming down there to whoop his *** and get restitution.. So I got about 12 people plus my self rolling down there to get some pay back. Its going to be like the movie Good Will Hunting, where he asks "hey remember me from kindergarden" or something like that. Scammers should have their typing fingers cut the **** off.

 

Its a shame. whatever happened to honest business and gett what you paid for ? My sympaties as i know how this feels. In the future though as a suggestion , try to read into people more. i learned my lesson once and have been pretty lucky since. i try not to get in the same situation twice. I have a bad temper and gettign ripped off for money i cant afford to being with makes crazy thoughts go theu my head and gets me in trouble.

If not then, hes going on honda-tech..

Its been about 9-10 days since i paided him, and it still hasnt been shipped.

I got scammed by autosportz.com. I bought a JDM R front end and it never showed up. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, FBI and local police... the investigation is still going on.
