Broken tach?
I was just joking about the tach being broken
Look at the needle, I just bounced it off the rev limiter

if your talking about the needle jumping, you might want to look inside the dist. cap. a cross fire could cause the same thing. when was the last you cange tha cap and rotor, oem parts
You needs brake pads, your check engine light is on and your not wearing your seatbelt freereving your motor to the moon

It was obvious from the bling jdm cluster's brake symbol
You should have unplugged the seatbelt plug from the seat and took off the parking brake.
Of course, I've seen a tach do that before when the car wasn't moving (without doing so on purpose)

aye man i had the same problem but i fixed it!
2 reasons why this problem occurs
1) the speaker plug wiring inside the distributor has a loose connection, (open up the dist and check every single plug and make sure its on each tab snug and tight)
2) if u have MSD ignition and u wired up the side the inside (recheck that also) when some people have the MSD they tend to have that jumpy tachometer thing because the wires came loose)
if its not any of those then i dont know what it is , but im sure its one of those
