Default Need some advice on being fast!!!

OK i got a 99 Ek with a 97 GSR motor stock, im using a 99 si wire harness with a 99 si ECU. My question is that i really want the secondary butterfly to open up but my harness dont have the plug and my ecu wont read it. Now im wondering if i should just wire it up and do the OBD2-OBD1 conversion and use a P72 or should i just buy a skunk2 manifold and bypass it. Whats the best way and would i feel the difference with the skunk2 manifold? THANKZ!

Skunk 2 manifold will free up some air. P72 would be a good choice but if u already got a P30 stick with that.

i doubt that's the reason.the butterflies, when not hooked up,stay open all the time,so there's no difference in having it hooked up or not at high RPM.it will only affect low-end,there will be a slight loss if thy're not hooked up.
get the Skunk mani, you'll be happy.
