I am using the stock 99 si fuel rail and evap setup on a 00 itr longblock with a JDM itr IM/TB. Can I run this evap setup for the referee? The itr doesn't have an evap so because I have more emission equipment than the original motor am I cool?

yes u will be cool u have to run the cars stock emissions control and the donor cars emission control or whichs ever better out of the two cars

So you have done this (using the host car's emission equipment for the donor car's engine) and passed the referee's visual inspection? He has told me it must be all of the emission equipment from the donor car mounted where it is supposed to go in the donor, not the host, car. Therefore, going on the referee's words, I have to use the itr purge. One problem though, I used a JDM itr IM, no purge on the JDM itr, therefore I am using the nipple that comes out of the TB for the vacuum line that comes out of the purge solenoid. No CELs but, I am just worried i will get flagged and then have to remove my IM, drill a hole for a nipple, buy the itr canister, and hook it up how it was supposed to be on a 00 USDM itr. Thank you for the response though streetdreams02.

edit: I was wrong on the original post. The USDM itr DOES have a purge/evap solenoid and the JDM itr does not.
