help me..... please
im so stressed out... me and a few of my friends just swapped my motor... this is the first major project i have ever done...
ok we just swaped an obd1 b18c into a 99 civic ex
now
1. where can i get the front driver side torque mount that will fit on my car and engine?
2. im shooting codes 9, 21, and 41.
9 i beleive is the dizzy.
21 i believe is the vtec sol. if we plug in vtec then it makes a popping sound.
41 i believe is the O2 sensor
what should i do about these?
the srs light is staying on, what would cause this?
when we shut the car off the same lights you get when you put the car on acc stay lit. but they are very dim.
we are using the d16 alternator for the moment because the plugs were different, and i have a 99 GSR alt. coming in tom.
please help
thank you
p.s. i am using my stock EX harness

Are you referring to the A/C bracket? If the engine doesn't have one you can use any 94-01 Integra, 93-97 Del Sol VTEC or 99-00 Si bracket and reuse your stock rubber mount. If you want to retain A/C then you'll need the 96-97 Del Sol VTEC A/C bracket.

9 = CYP Sensor (Cylinder) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
21 = VTEC Solenoid Valve defective circuit or unplugged / defective solenoid valve
41 = Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heater circuit malfunction

From the electrical problems you are having, I would say you have some wiring issues somewhere. I assume you are using an OBD2 to OBD1 jumper harness with OBD1 ECU? You are getting voltage to a circuit that should be off when the car is not turned to ACC or running which isn't good. The VTEC solenoid could be a bad solenoid or the wiring. Definitely go back over all your connections on the engine and at the ECU, especially the jumper connection and any added wiring.

when vtec is connected it makes a popping noise above idle
the O2sensor was spliced for an a/f gauge on my other motor, could that be why?
im not using ac
should i take the car somewhere to get it checked out?

yea i dont know why i said it, i thought about it after the post
but yea, there are 2 white wires on the dizzy that i think got connected backwards
but what about the popping? and the spliced O2?
ive never really done engine work... so im about clueless... everyone said it would be cake walk...
