I'm looking to upgrade from the stock USDM header in my car. I know there is an appx. 3-5" gap in the exhaust line and I've been told that a header from a b16a2 will be appropriate for my car and will line right up w/the cat. I'm trying to find out if a jdm header from an ITR will also match or if it will be too short, like the gsr header. Thanks for input.

 

The 94-99 GSR header is the only one it's size. If you just swapped over to a B18C1 and have the factory GSR manifold (or aftermarket equivalent) then yes there will be approximately a 3-4" gap. The B16 and ITR header are the same length (longer than a GSR) and will meet up with the stock exhaust/cat.

 

Is $200 reasonable for a used JDM ITR header? Would you recommend this header for daily driving, street legal, etc.?

 

the jdm itr header is supposed to be awesome..... and $200 does seem like a great price.
