no

h22a1: water pump 19200-P13-000
h23a1: water pump 19200-P14-A00

i know they must have a different tooth count. it also says they are different in the h23 vtec conversion. what im really after is how many teeth the lower timing belt gear is, and how many teeth are on the water pump

The H23 waterpump has 19 teeth on it. I have one right here in front of me. It even says 19T on it.

Hope this helps.

I'll go count on the one I have in my Garage. WHen I get home. I'll post tomorrow if somebody hasn't already done it by then.

If you need an answer to a question. I probably have the answer. The teeth on the h23 crank IS different than the one on the H22 vtec. You must change it out. I have a whole kit to swap out your h23 to a v-tec compatible one. Lots of little parts. So I know what it takes. unfortunately not for sale. (I now just have a full 2001 h22 vtec engine)

If this wasn't what you are looking for. Sorry. just trying to help. It would help though if you stated what your primary purpose is for this question.

im looking to see how many teeth the lower crank pulley has, or if you feel liek counting how many teeth the timing belt has. i know that would be a bitch but thats what i really need, i have a h22a1 so i have everything. i just need h23 stats

edit ahhh im on post 666 , thats kinda scary, neway i found out that the h22 and h23 timing belts have a different tooth spacing, so i can't use the h23 water pump in my h22.

If you would have asked that in the first place I would have just told you NO!

LOL. That's why I asked you why you were asking this question. Oh well. Guess you like counting.

Did the swap. Read signature.

VTEC head, H23 bottom end eh?

I started out on this project. I bought all the parts. Rode in one. (not fast as a h22) - compression is lowered if you don't get type s pistons. Did all the reading. Understood WHY everything that had to be changed, had to be changed. Then just went with the H22. HAPPY with the decision.
