Box ideas for Soundstream SPL 160 in 92 civic hb
I'll start off by saying that I have built many different sub boxes in the past from sealed to ported and even an isobaric bandpass for kicker comp 15's.
Here's my equipment.
1 Soundstream SPL 160
PPI PC-1400 mono amp (800 watts @2 ohms to the sub)
The box will be going in a 92 civic hb.
I've actually had spl 160's before with 1.75 cubic feet per sub and it worked ok but it seemed like the subs wanted a bigger or even ported box.
I'd like to hear if anyone has these subs, what kind of box they are in, and how they like the setup. I'll build any box if it will work well. I just don't think the 1.75' sealed is a good choice for my next box.....input?
