I can't find a GSR block and can't afford a type r block but I like the squirters. Can they be installed in a B18a?
If you are talking about Oil Squirters then no, you can't. GSR Blocks are the only blocks that have them. Sorry man. Save some money, and let me know. Might be able to find a block for you.
Um, you should only answer questions if you know the RIGHT ANSWER to the question.
You can install oil squirters....I know some drilling and tapping is required. I'm not sure of the exact process, you may want to do a search.

stop trying to make money off members and help them out. they can be installed onto your ls b18a/b18b block but i was quoted 200 at one machine shop and 230 at another one its not an easy process, plus used oil squirters go for around 40-50(set). i would recomend you just save that money and get some forged pistons around $400-500 bucks which dont need oil squirters at high rpm like the stock pistons.
go to this link
chad put them in a b20 block
essentially the same thing as a ls

look at the seventh picture down and enjoy
btw it costed about 200 bux to get this done but is very
beneficial with stock pistons and makes for a more reliable engine

You see...you can get an intelligent response from H/T members!
So oil squirters are for stock pistons...I never thought of that. I thought it had to do with the reliablility of an ls/vtec at high rpms which I do now with my built B16 (9k).
I will be running Endyns (they are forged) so I don't need the squirters right? So where can I get a good write up on how to build an ls/vtec correctly? I really want to rev the hell out of the engine!
Thanks!

so you wanna rev the hell out of the engine then you ll def need the endyn or z10 block girlde, and make sure you get everything balanced you dont want anything vibrating at 9000rpm. only site i know that has info on building up the ls/vtec is http://www.c-speedracing.com and you can also check http://www.b20vtec.com. for some info.

Oil squirters are only there for cooling purposes at high RPM. Just buy some good new pistons and install a block girdle you will be fine.
