Default Question on Golden Eagle sleeves. Seal on the outside of the sleeve?

I recently checked out my GE sleeved block, and a couple inches down from the top of the outside portion of the sleeve, there is orange sealent. In a couple of areas, it is coming off. Does anyone know if that is normal and bad for the block? Thanks.

They all do that it is normal for Golden Eagle sleeves to do that according to GE and others with no problems from it. It happened on mine but am not the BEST source on a good GE block sorry. Others had the same thing happen with no adverse effects. Good luck.

Just don't pull it off. It is excess sealant. No problem.
