Default proving a fake

some guy says he has an apexi n1 catback exhaust on his civic but that the emblem fell off. How can i tell if it is the real deal? any other place it says the Apexi logo?

What? When I had my Apexi N1, the Apexi logo was "engraved" on the muffler. It wasn't a patch like they are on intakes.

My Apexi N1 did not have the engraving on the tip, only a badge on the bottom of the muffler

wow thats a nice looking muffler!

Maybe the welded on mufflers have the logo engraved and the whole kits have the plate welded or rivited to the bottom? Or maybe the engraved logo's are a new model then the olds ones where the use the plates??? I have noo idea
