Default HKS SSQ owners

Do any of you have the insterts? I'm buying a car with one and I wanted to know if it makes the sound a lot better when you use the purple insert...

I want a really deep sound and I hope if I buy the insert I won't be dissapointed

I have the gold one......before that i had the silver one. I really couldnt hear a difference until you pop it off at high boost.

I thought the purple one is the lowest pitch, gold is quietest, and silver is stock which is loud and whistly...

That's stock...

And with the purple insert.. I dunno what the gold one sounds like..

I want to hear the gold one now....Im curious...

I like the ssqv but I prefer a much stronger "whoosh of air" type sound rather than a squeel. I want to try to achieve this without switching BOV's.

the gold and the silver inserts are the exact same, I have both

I bought the gold one thinking that it would sound differenr, but sounds exactly the same. THe purple one is a whoosh sound from what i've heard.

If you have the silver you have the loudest insert. For some reason the bov sounds wierd on hondas, you would think its just air forced out of a whistle essientially but i guess its not

I want a loud BOV, but I also want a PSHHH or WHOOSH sound, well I guess the high pitched chirp on the standard insert is a very unique sound D:..

I'll probably buy both cause they have both inserts on ebay for 20 dollars buy it now and see which one suits my style best.
