Default we need a genious

we put a b16a into a 97 dx HB . exacly what alot of people say not to do. the guy bought a 2gen obd1 b16a,the obd2 to1 conversion harness and everything else needed, after installation the car hardly ran. we used the D16's TBS to get around not having the B16's map . the D16 is made into it .also from the d16 we used the evap purge control valve and had to Y the vacum for the evap and the pvc because the b16 intake only had one large vacum spout, when throtle is applied the motor boggs, when you fluctuate it, it revs up... using the obd2 engine harness and the obd1 conversion harness what could possible be our prob ohh yeah, how funny will a car run without a knock sensor?

check out the tps and map sensor plugs see if they are switched, it kinda sounds like they are. You'll never even tell the difference without a knock sensor other then the CEL

what a mess! find someone on there that has a 2000 SI manifold and TB. swap that on and it should ease some of your pains. You have a mess...
