Default Is the winter, 2 questions about antifreeze

1)What type of antifreeze do you guys put into your teg?
and 2) do you have to drain everything out before you add antifreeze liquid OR can you just add some to the reservoir tank if it's at MIN or almost MIN line?

u can just add anti-freeze. however some do not come pre- mixed with H20... most do. in the winter u want a closer ratio of 50% water, 50% green stuff.u dont want too much water b/c it can freeze and cause lots of problems...

I wouldn't recommend just adding antifreeze to the reservoir only if you don't know the condition of the coolant in the rest of the system. The antifreeze you add to the reservoir may or may not be mixed fully with the rest of the system when the temperature drops below freezing...
