Default How much (99-00) conversion

I'm selling my eg this next summer and getting an ek hatch. but the problem is is that I don't like the 96-98 front ends and I love the 99-00 front ends. How much would I pay for a 99-00 front end on a 96-98 hatch and would It bolt up with no problems or modification....THANKS

i have something for you to think about, saving up another 1000 dollars and buying a real 99-00 hatch.

I would but they seem really hard to find conpared to the 96-98 hatchies. Plus I would prefer a white one as well.

Probably the easiest option.

front end will bolt right on... and it is easier to get a 96-98 because you can run same year and above engines legally... cheaper then if you got a 99-00 because 99-00 engines tend to cost a little more, are newer, and are harder to find...

it would be so much easy just to get the white 2000 instead of buying a 96-98 then doing the front end conversion then getting it reprayed white. And if you get the 99-00 you will get the better climate control. But i will never change to the 99-00 front end, i like my 98

it wont really matter what color you get your car because after you do your conversion, you will most likely not have a white front end. in that situation, you have to repaint your car. I believe that you will dish out more money doing that than to buy a real 99-00 hatch. if this doesnt make sense, ive had a long day and im tired
