OT: About My Lugs
On my typer, i have rims that use open socket lug nuts. i will be doing a rotor change tomorrow and i was wondering, is it okay to put antiseize on the lug nut or the lug. any info will help. ive noticed with the open lug nuts, there is more rust there. thanks in advance

i wouldn't do it.. it may work out, but without anti-seize i have to re-torque lug nuts, sometimes twice..

Dont be retarded.
Always use antiseize. Clean off the studs, use a wire brush if you have to and some brakecleaner. Wait for it to dry, and apply a *tiny* dab of it on the stud and use your fingers to *lightly* coat the threads. If you have to retorque them you used too much.
