Default Question on Honda cx's and there exhaust system

I called several exhaust companies and was told they do not make catback exhaust for honda cx's because they have the cat inside the header...does anyone have a cx with catback exhaust and can tell me what they did to make a system fit...

uhhh yea they do. they make exhausts for the 92-95 body style. it will fit. trust me. only car that might be different is the Si. why does the cat in the header effect the catback. its from the CAT back. it has nothing to do with the header

it different because with any other motor the cat is under the car, and with a cx it's next to the motor and the only thing under the car is exh. pipe. Are you running a cx motor? If so don't even worry about putting an exhaust system on there... look at the size of the throttle body!.....save your money for a z6....or at least a z6 head.

ok i get it. but why not just buy and exhaust and get a muffler shop to weld it up? or dont mod a cx engine

Get EX/SI parts for a hatch..

EX/Si Header (stock or aftermarket)
EX/Si Cat (stock or aftermarket)
EX/Si Catback (stock or aftermarket)

You'll be set.....

OT: reason I did it was I got a zc swap and they used my vx exhuast set up....grrr!!
