Default Best ECU to run with Hondata and a 99 Si.

Im going to be actually running with an LS/VTEC setup. Im going to be running a Hondata S200B setup. What is the best ECU to run with the least problems. P28 is what i hear but i also hear about P30, P74 ect... please list the best ECU's to use and from what car they are from. When getting one from a junk yard, how would you know if it hasnt been damaged from water? Thanks for the help.
