my siren that came with my viper alarm has 2 extra black wires on it besides the siren output red/black wires. can i use those black extra wires to hook up my 516u voice alarm? can i use it as speaker wire outputs?

 

did you buy it new? cause mine has a little loop thing which is a black wire and i believe if you cut it, it wil be louder

when the loop is cut it gives you louder chirps, but otherwise the volume is the same..... keeping the loop intact gives what is considered to be "soft chirps"
I worked at one store that never cut the loop, and then worked at another that always cut the loop, it's all a matter of preference

but those wire have no other function, nor can they be used for anything else

 

is the dei 516u siren the one that says "viper armed" etc. i was gonna buy one but wasnt sure what the siren says.

 

in order for it to say "viper armed" you have to have the viper voice module. It is completely independent of the siren.
