My buddy (RedRacer) has been having issues about his wheels. He told me that he wants something more forgivable for everyday driving. He wants SI wheels, but there is another Del Sol with them on it. Skunk2teg has his stocks from his GSR and told him to try them. We did and it looked damn good. He has had more people tell him that his car look better with the GSR wheels, but he changed his mind when someone told him that they looked chrome. THEY ARE NOT CHROME AND THE PEOPLE THAT TOLD HIM HAS NO ******* CLUE! Sorry about that. We went to the track lastnight, and he got positive remarks about his car. Today I called him and he took them off and he changed his mind again. Grant it, they are 15's, but if he gets a good set of tires they will handle just as good and he wont loose any low end. What do you guys think? Heavy 17's or light weight GSR wheels on a red Del Sol VTEC. My other buddy said he would trade him his SI wheels for the GSR wheels if he wanted them that bad. Selling his 17's would not be a problem cause there are at least two people that are interested.

DAMN YOU GUYS! Quit looking at the poll and vote! I am sure you know what the 00' GSR wheels look like! The Elite RPM's are a seven spoke wheel with a open lug pattern. Almost every wheel manufacture makes the same style wheel.

 

Performance wise you have to go with the GSR rims. Their lighter and he will have more acceration off the line. Although If it were me I would look into some gunmetal ITR rims (he would need a 5 lug conversion) or some gunmetal Kosi K1 in 15 or 16's.

Get some 16's and you can have the best of both worlds. If 16's is not an option, definitely go with the GSR rims, they are lighter, more forgiving to potholes, curbs, and not to mention the wallet. .03cents.
