time for new tires...... which size?
ok i need some tires now and im torn between 2 sizes. im gettin ES100's cus they are good on my tiny wallet and i like them as i have run them twice so far. anyways i was lookin at the prices and sizes and it got me thinking. right now im running 195/50/15 they are $56 each the stock 195-55-15 is $58 each... which size would yall recommend? i like the slight final drive change with the smaller tires but am not sure how each size affects the handling of the car. thanks for any help

For $2, I would go with the stock size. 195/50 is not rated for the weight of an integra, though many people, including myself, run 195/50 with no problems.

What size rims do you have?
If stock then the 205 Azenis might feel alittle mushy when turning but has great grip, If you want to try the Kuhmo MXs in 205 on the stock wheels they might work ok.
I have the Kuhmp MXs on Rotas SS 15X6.5 and they feel great and good in the rain too.
Or if you want to spend the cash go with the RE010 they are the best on a stock rim R.

agreed, 205's are a bit wide on the stock rim.. and cost some turn-in response
I would go w/195/50 for better accel if your on the stockies.

Get the stock size, 195/55-15. Definitely.
Remember, when you use smaller tires (like the 195/50-15), your speedometer and odometer then read higher (by 3.3 percent). You don't want to be putting those extra miles on your odometer.

Not true for the ES100. The 205/50 is a lot more expensive than the 195 tires.

195/50's give you more ticks on your odometer than needed, and also give too much wheel gap. 205's will give you sloppy steering response on stock rims. The stock size ownz. That's why I just spent $525 on some new RE-010's

widest tire oem wheels happily accept, the 195/50.. is not an accepted size for the tegs and Civs... though it works I am sure it skews the accuracy of the speedo...

Check your math.
ES100 195/55-15: 4x$58=$232
RE010 195/55-15: 4x$123=$492
Difference: $260
I think the RE010 tires are great, and that's why I use them on my ITR. I think the ES100 tires are great for the money, and that's why I use them on my GS-R.
