Default THE definitive oil thread....

First off, yes I searched, but the information is old, and want to be as up to date as possible

If you came to flame, kindly move on, I'm sure there are some n00bs out there you can beat up on, however, I am not one of them...

I want to know what motor, mileage, lbs of boost, brand and change interval...

I'll kick us off...

LS-T
about 3K since build
17 lbs daily
Amsoil 10W30 turbo every 2500

and once again, thank you for your support

i used castrol gtx 10w30 on my b16a2, turbo'd for 30k mi, oil changed every 3k mi, boost levels were changed many times(highest was at 18psi/spiked to 25psi once too!).

'95 d16z6 (stock) custom turbo, t3 @ 11lbs
motor has 100,500k on her
turbo has been on since 90k
oil is changed every 3k miles, full synthetic, been playing around with the brands-- tried supertech full-syn(walmart), then mobil1 15-50 then 10w30 (it's too cold for 50 weight, but my car burns 30weight), and this time i bought some penzoil synthetic 10w30 and am using it now. I have more mobil 1 in the trunk. every 3k maybe 3500 has worked well, I beat the living **** out of my car daily.
