Ninja 250r
Question, Why doesn't kawasaki update this bike? Not enough sales?
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't kawa the only mainstream company that makes a 200 sportbike for the US market (honda makes a rebel but it's a cruiser). With such a foothold on that part of the market wouldn't they want to stay that way and revise a newer version. The current model has remained unchanged for years and looks a little tacky.
My next bike is gonna either be a sv650, gs500, or the 250ninja... After about a year I'll probably find a used honda 599... Does anybody know any news on a newer 250?

R&D costs. also new manufacturing and parts creation not to mention support structure. No point really when the main selling point is price. It has no competition, what would drive them to improve? No new 4stroke 250s that I know of.
they did have some other then the ones imported to the good ol us(the ninjas we get). zx2r is one nice bike and made to compete with the cbr250. I don't think they make them anymore. heres a pic.
