Default Possible to fix this "dent" (big)

My rear quarter panel just went from good to bad...
How possible would it be to fix this dent as much myself before taking it to the bodyshop. Is there any way to either pull it out or push it from the interior side? Or should I just give up and pay the bill?

that might be able to be "banged" out. My friend had a dent some what like that in her QP of her camry too. We just went into the trunk and bangde it out, looked perfect. But yours is a bit bigger, the "cracks" look a little more "complicated"

What you should do is where you have the deepest folds in the metal, you should drill holes in the area and get a special tool that you slide in and you can pull out the body panel into better shape

I thought it might be able to be banged out like you described.
Does anyone know if that area is accesible from the interior - or is there sheet metal blocking the way?

Is the drilling method the most effective way to start?
I guess maybe I'll try banging it out first and then if that doesn't get it all out start drilling.
I just want to save time in the bodyshop to lessen the bill. haha

Well if you start banging on it, you will ruin the way the metal folds. First I would pull it with the pulling tool(hole method) to get it as accurate as possible, then i would bang out as much metal as possible.

Good point. I guess ideally with the pulling tool it would "pop" back out exactly the same way as it popped in.

I think welding in a new quarter is probably the most expensive solution - not exactly what I'm looking for...
