Default Tranny problem

hey everyone wasap,
I had a tranny rebuild at 25k because my car wasnt going into reverse at all. SO i took it in and they ripped everything apart and replaced shifter forks and a couple syncros. WHen I got my car back i noticed a little trouble shifting into first gear. The shifter would stop halfway and sometimes go in with a little more force or just not go in at all. Now this is an intermittent problem, I've told my service guy this a couple of times. My recent oil change he drove it himself and he said he found nothing wrong at all. Now im in the process of having bert from gettel acura set me up with a new ITR tranny and whatever i need for this swap so i dont have to deal with this **** anymore. Anyone know what the problem could be? bad clutch? I now have 27 miles on my car.

you could always try to shift into 2nd gear first. it tends to make the transition easier.

I should hope not, my OEM clutch went 135K miles before giving out.
