Default how much power loss w/ 2.25" piping and stock muffler?

i have an apex'i n1 right now but the friend i bought it from wants it back and although i liked it alright, it hung too low, and was a little too loud for my taste. i am considering getting a stock gs-r muffler and having 2.25 or 2.5" piping made to run to the muffler but i dont want to lose a whole lot of power. would larger piping help a lot or would the power loss be very sufficient vs. the n1. i'm hoping someone can give me a ballpark figure of how much power i'll lose from the n1 to a 2.25 with stock muffler. thanks for the help

well assuming that its not highly modded and fairly stock. i would say more or less the same. i have a 2.25 piping into a stock muffler. I feel that it is the same with less noise.....lol.....unless its turbo or highly built...no difference.
