Default Update on #454

Well she's almost ready to paint. The new front goes on this week and all the paint comes off. I'm fixing all the dents and imperfections that my car had previously so she'll be as good as new.

The car is getting sprayed the same gunmetal that comes on the 911 and then is going to get some silver flake in the clear. Then three coats of clear. Engine bay stays black.

The only other things that are going to be different are no trunk keyhole, no holes where acura used to be on the hatch. No more stickers.

I will try and get some pics of the car in progress tomorrow. Looks like **** right now, but it will definitely come out nicer than it went in.

Are you getting the door jambs and trunk jambs painted?

i remember him saying he was going to properly get the car painted other than the motor because it would be more work taking the motor out and putting it back in. anyway, good luck dude.

Get the rear wiper squirter taken off too if you have a chance, it's the best time to do it...and shouldn't cost too much, it was $60 for me

hmmm interesting replies. I had never thought of removing the antenna and wiper nozzle. The wiper nozzle is definitely coming out, but will m reception be completely gone without an antenna???
