trying to measure for shims and having trouble..

When we close the case with the LSD and the thrust bearings in it.. the LSD will not move and we cannot fit any feeler gauges in it at all.. its like the thrust bearings are too big.. can I remove the top thrust bearing and measure without that one? what shall I do?

Ideas? or know of someone I need to ask? I'm completely outta ideas

So it's too tight? Get a shim thats thinner... ?

your supposed to measure without a shim to find the proper gap
