hey peoples i got a real good deal on a obx lsd for 300.. i just dont know how to install it so im taking it to the shop to get it installed.. i am also getting new clutch and flywheel installed..
Here is the question.. i have a 00 civic si b16a2.. will i need any other parts to get this to bolt on to the tran? i hate going to the shop to install something and im missing like a bearing or something.. thanks in advance techteam

just make sure you have all the new bearings and of course the lSD

No fucken way OBX makes LSD now. WTF?

It would be nice if they come thru and work good, but I wouldn't trust them just yet.


BTW is it a real LSD or that Phantom Grip ****?


EDIT: Just seen it now on EBAY that thing looks tight. Wonder how it performs. I'm starting to like OBX.

well its suppose to be a copy of that one lsd.. qaife or qeef heh.. its suppose to be real decent.. im only going to be pushing 150hp with about 110 torque.. it was a hell of a price. i figured im going to get hammered on installation. but i cant wait to have my trans prepped for all motor then jrsc. im making a show car.. the unf when you need it but its not gonna have 500 some hp.. im going to keep it from 200-300 hp. enough for the grin to be present on my face. ill keep you guys updated.. the lsd should be here frieday

Why do you need an LSD again? If you're building a show car dude save your money.

you can launch some what the same without LSD, it's more about coming out of the coners.

yeah some dude blew up his 3rd gear (he had an obx lsd on) and took it all apart and had chunks of metal in his tranny and the lsd was fine and he put it on his new tranny and ran like a champ. I remember him saying he ran the hell out of it all the time and ran perfect everytime all the time
