Default brake pad squeel?

i just put new pads on my 95 coupe, i have slotted rotors, and i put axxiss pads in. ive done pads before and this squeel never happened. ive checked all the metal clips to hold the pads in and i cant see any of them touching. i had to replace the pad mount piece that the caliper bolts to with a crx dx mount bc the caliper bolt broke on my factory ones. would there be a problem with using this? or anyone have any other ideas? its gettin really annoying and i dont wanna mess up my rotors. but i cant tell wats causing it

did you put the anti-squeel stuff on the back of the pads? if you didnt, you can get it for like $2 at your local auto store.

You need to remove the pads again and smear anti-squeal lubricant on the 'backs' of the plates.

While in there clean your discs with alcohol or brake cleaner and a clean rag/check for foriegn debris that might be causing the noise.

No, it isn't because it's a CRX.

Wear your latex gloves this time, you won't make a mess.

Hmm, shouldn't be any problem using that mount if they are the same? Did you 'free' spin the disc once everything was installed to see/hear if everything was quiet and good?
